Laura comes from a strong entrepreneurial heritage built on hard work and treating people right for 3 generations.  Her grandparents launched the first Crowley Furniture store in 1954 with just $500.  More than 70 years later, their legacy continues with Laura and her parents at the helm.  Laura joined the family business in 2003, and although she wears many hats, she specializes in inventory management and operations and provides leadership for more than 40 employees.  She is instrumental in building the Crowley brand, directing marketing and advertising strategies for the company.    During her 15-year tenure, Liberty, MO-based Crowley Furniture has expanded operations, opening new locations in Overland Park and Lee’s Summit, doubling its warehouse and delivery capacity, and more than tripled its annual sales to $20 million in 2017.

Laura holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing from Washington University in St. Louis and earned her EMBA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2010.  She joined the board of directors for Central Bank of the Midwest in 2018 and resides in Brookside, MO with her husband and three boys.
