Your planner shouldn't have illegible notes crammed into the margins. Some people like to use sticky notes or create a color key to ensure everything stays systematized.
It's important that you don't plan too far in advance, though, because you could forget about that doctor's appointment you wrote in two months ago. You'll be reminded of everything you previously scheduled and your weekly obligations will be top of mind.
Your planner doesn't have to filled with super serious meetings and appointments. Write down goals you want to achieve, and schedule ahead for a treat yourself day. That way, you can track your progress and get excited for special occasions.
