Modernize Your Farmers Market Nutrition Program

The Farmer's Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) is a simple, card-free way for participants to use their state food benefits. Central Bank’s eFMNP system includes a website for program staff and a mobile app that helps WIC FMNP and Senior FMNP programs give out and manage electronic benefits.

How the Program Works

number one

Verify

Participants and vendors are securely registered by state agencies via web portal or upload.

number two

Load Benefits

State staff distribute funds to participant wallets—accessible via mobile app, printed QR code, or optional benefit card.

number three

Spend

Participants visit approved vendors to purchase their goods. They can pay via mobile app, printed QR Code, or their card.

number four

Redeem

The farmer scans the customer's QR code, enters the purchase amount, and gets a confirmation showing the customer's balance before and after.

number five

Deposit

The system will make all necessary deposits for farmers that redeemed funds and will deposit the funds in their account.

number six

Report

Real-time dashboards and exportable reports keep agencies informed and in control.
