Brian started his career in finance in the private sector in Denver, Co with Mobil Oil Alternative Energy and UPS before moving to Lawrence, KS to assume the role of CFO with a local manufacturing company. Brian made the transition to banking in 2004 and has worked as a commercial lender since then. He feels his experience as a CFO helps him appreciate his clients’ needs as well as their expectations from their banker. Brian received his Bachelor's of Finance from the University of Colorado and his MBA from Kansas University. He is also Certified Valuation Analyst with NACVA. In the community, Brian is past President of the Family Promise of Lawrence board and currently serves on the Cottonwood Foundation board.
