About Me

Community, leadership, commitment, and passion sum up Felice Mitchell’s experience and impact in Raleigh. As Central Bank’s Community Lending Officer, she provides access to fair/equitable lending and attainable homeownership for Raleigh’s underserved populations.

Felice is the founder and managing principal at Change117, LLC, a holistic management and consulting firm where she helps individuals and organizations nationally within the community development, affordable housing, and small business sectors navigate change.

She has her MBA from the University of Maryland-UC and a master’s degree in social work with a focus in community development from Howard University. She is a certified diversity executive and holds certifications in change management. Felice received a project management professional certification from the Project Management Institute and a leadership development and coaching certification from the Maxwell Leadership Team.

Felice is on the board of the Triangle Real Estate Investor Association and serves as its director of strategic partnerships. She is a member of the women’s leadership initiative steering committee for the Urban Land Institute.

Before coming to Central Bank, she worked in various community development, affordable housing, real estate, and technology positions in Tampa, Florida, Guadalajara, Mexico, and her native Washington, D.C.

Felice’s career success aligns with her interests and passions outside of work. When she’s not at a board meeting, a strategic planning huddle, volunteering at a nonprofit, or helping others achieve homeownership, she loves art, music, reading, concerts, and travel adventures with her family.
