Tony Yarbrough

Tony Yarbrough is the Chief Credit Officer of Central Bank of the Midwest. Tony leads the overall management of the Bank’s loan portfolio, loan documentation and credit risk functions, while collaborating with the lending leadership team to ensure compliance, quality and consistency within the Bank’s credit culture.

Tony began his banking career as a teller with Commerce Bank in 1994 while earning his Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia. After graduating college, he joined Central Bancompany as a Loan Review Manager before transferring to our Springfield affiliate in 2002 to pursue a position in commercial lending. In 2007, Tony’s career brought him to Kansas City to serve as a Commercial Loan Officer with First National Bank of Missouri. Tony has close to 25 years of banking experience with 20 years in the commercial loan capacity for Central Bank. Tony’s most recent role has been to lead the Commercial Loan Division in the Blue Springs Market as the Blue Springs Market President.

Tony is actively involved in several professional and community organizations and is known by his clients and team as a subject matter expert.
